While there is a wide variety of quilts around the world,

I believe that American quilts,

with their primitive and quiet presence,

are a better fit for the Japanese climate than colorful and flashy quilts.

This season,

we have created two patterns of blue and white quilts that were popular in America in the early 1900s.

The beautiful shades of indigo combined with white cotton create a sense of strength.

A life with such quilts will surely be wonderful.
