I went to Portland, America, currently the hottest city, and stayed at the "ACE HOTEL", a favorite among industry insiders.

Of course, my first cup of coffee in the morning was third-wave coffee.

 

I went on a business trip that was so annoyingly

"Sounds so stylish."

 

 

Moreover, on this trip,

I was accompanied by two buyers from a certain lifestyle shop, so the trip was just overflowing with style.

The two of them arrived by bike in the morning. As expected,

they were refreshing, unlike the BasShu team, who were lounging around in the lobby (lol).

 

I'll post about the mission of the trip another time, but for now,

here's a report on what the much-talked-about Portland is like.

 

First,

the city's iconic "ACE HOTEL".

Actually, it was night when we arrived, so the lobby was empty and dark.

After checking in,

we headed to the room.

I was finally in the room I had seen so many times in magazines and media.

Along with that joy,

a feeling of "is this all there is?" simultaneously washed over me.

 

Unlike large hotels,

the room's construction felt cheap, or to put it nicely, rough.

Well, it has that kind of atmosphere where that's also good.

(It's more like, "if you can't enjoy that, don't stay here.")

The bathroom was

all white, spacious, and stylish.

 

Even the graphics on the paper goods casually placed around exuded a strong sense of high taste.

My only impression is "stylish." (lol)

 

It's hard to convey in photos, but

the room's ceiling was incredibly high,

which made it feel very luxurious.

 

The best part was definitely the lobby.

From morning, locals and travelers alike were bustling about.

Even when I returned to the hotel a bit tired,

the warm atmosphere of the entrance welcomed me,

making me feel relieved to be "home."

 

As for whether the rooms are wonderful...

Well,

as a hotel for enjoying Portland,

it might be good for its proximity to locals and its unpretentious stay.

 

Personally, my ACE HOTEL experience reaffirmed that I prefer classical and stately hotels.

 

Also, for some reason,

the toilet paper holder was incredibly high. (Above my shoulder)
