Another favorite store is closing down.
Vintage clothing store "Wooden Sleepers" in Brooklyn, NY.

Even during the pandemic, their social media posts continued as usual,
so I was hoping they'd make it through.
However, a post from the day before yesterday announced
the closure of their physical store.
For now, they will continue with only their online store.
It was a cool store in a secluded location.
It's such a shame.
It's truly heartbreaking to see such a great store,
filled with the owner's passion, disappear.
The impact of COVID-19 has been prolonged in the US, especially in New York,
and I'm sure it's much tougher than we can imagine.
When I started thinking about it, I couldn't focus on work,
so I'm writing this blog post...
This store truly had excellent taste,
and even though it was in a remote area not in a commercial district,
it was a space that made you want to visit.
I've never spoken to the owner,
I just admired their Instagram posts,
and would buy a few things when I visited.
Still, when I saw their posts about "tough times due to COVID-19,"
I ordered internationally to support them.
Looking back, I was quite a fan.
I wish I could have told the owner in person at the store.
The store wrote that they want to reopen in a different location.
Until then, they will continue with their e-commerce.
