The next day, we headed downtown.

 

Perhaps because it was exhibition season,

all the hotels we had in mind were fully booked,

so we ended up booking this one based on location and price, without much expectation.

It's a renovated old building,

with a stately atmosphere.

 

And now,

here's the room.

 

My director was in the room across the hall,

and we both opened our doors, then closed them again.

 

"Are you sure the price isn't off by a decimal place?!"

"Yes, it shouldn't be... I think."

 

Despite saying that,

I immediately checked, feeling uneasy.

 

It wasn't wrong. (Phew~)

This was $190 per night.

 

Isn't it too luxurious?

A reception set so grand it'd be a waste not to have a meeting, a chessboard,

and a king-size bed.

 

Anyway,

I sat on the sofa in front of the TV, sipping the alcohol I'd bought,

but I couldn't quite relax.

 

The feeling of being a commoner, just a small figure in a large room,

is something I can't forget.

This hotel is also a sports club,

and guests can attend yoga classes for free,

and use the machines and pool, which is quite nice.

 

If this room is under $200,

it's not bad, right?

Come to think of it, breakfast was included too, so no complaints.

 

A bit of a VIP experience,

highly recommended.
