This spring,
we've added new patterns
to our "The Stripes" bedding series.
We went through countless revisions during the yarn dyeing process
until we were finally satisfied with these two patterns.
To say the least, they are quite good (lol).

First, this one.
76% Cotton, 24% Linen (garment washed)
made in JAPAN, Banshu-ori

While solid brown bedspreads are standard,
I disliked their heavy presence, so after navy,
I decided to create a sophisticated pattern using brown.
This pattern features a large brown stripe on an ecru base,
resulting in a design that is both bold and somewhat relaxed.
The second image is taken in natural light with no editing,
so it might give a clearer idea of the color's ambience.
Banshu-ori is known for its natural texture,
and this time, we intentionally used linen-blend yarn of uneven thickness for the weft
to create an even more natural unevenness in the fabric.
The comfortable, smooth feel of the linen blend
is truly addictive once you try it.
Next, Stripe BEIGE.

This one combines grayish beige with off-white
to create a soft atmosphere.
Again, the second image makes the color clearer.
Since the fabric is 100% cotton, it is firmer
and has a pleasant crispness compared to Stripe BROWN.
Brown tones are colors that are naturally abundant around us,
so they seamlessly blend into daily life
and add warmth.
Creating these pieces, I was reminded once again that
brown truly is a sophisticated color.
