BasShu's bed linens are

all originally made from Banshu-ori fabric.

This is to ensure

a soft and comfortable feel from the moment you fall asleep until you wake up in the morning.

 

And also,

to not compromise on design.

Perhaps a certain weave texture would look great with this pattern, or

the warp color would be better as a duller, vintage-like beige.

Or achieving a deep, impressive blue without using indigo dyes that transfer color.

 

Honestly, for bed linen, it's not cheap,

but we've created it with the hope that it reaches those who are truly looking for something they love, both in terms of quality and design.

 

And this season,

we are launching two new stripe patterns.

Thanks to you, this series is now entering its third season.

 

I've developed a habit of always checking bed linens when I travel abroad,

and I've always felt that Japan is still lagging behind in terms of bedroom coordination and the variety of bed linen options.

This might be proportional to the short history of transitioning from futons to beds in Japan.

 

Even if there are attractive and cool floral or stripe patterns that I like,

when I apply them to my own living environment,

the patterns might be too large and not blend in with the interior,

or they might be too vivid for the Japanese sense of color.

 

Isn't there a pattern size and tone that better suits Japanese interiors?

 

Such thoughts were the starting point for this series.

Although this season's two patterns look simple at first glance,

their weave textures are different, and the bumpy texture after washing

adds a warm, unique feel characteristic of Banshu-ori.

Additionally, the smooth, linen-blend texture is also recommended for the upcoming season.
