The corduroy version of the product had been on my mind for a while,
but I couldn't find a fabric with the right texture and color,
so it had been pending.
But then I found it!
I came across a fabric that made me say "This is it!"
so I decided to launch it this autumn without further delay.
It's an online-only release. (No wholesale available)
A deep brown close to camel,
with a vintage-like texture of wide wales.
Though I didn't say it out loud,
Tsuji Hitonari's "We finally met" naturally came to my mind.

When it comes to corduroy with wide wales,
most often they have a casual feel,
but the appeal of this fabric is quite the opposite.
Its elegance is decidedly not casual.
It has that tough yet supple texture,
like the upholstery of a vintage sofa.
And it emits a subtle sheen depending on the angle,
which is incredibly beautiful and stylish.
The bean bag cushion
has a zipper on the back,
so it can be removed from the main body and washed.
(The corduroy fabric is 100% cotton)
Each piece is carefully sewn in Okayama.
