"Tatami" has long been a part of Japanese life.
However, not every home has a Japanese-style room nowadays.

The pleasant feel on the skin, the refreshing scent, and the texture that mysteriously calms you.
It was with the desire to bring this piece of Japanese history into Western-style rooms that we arrived at our domestically produced IGUSA RUG.

"Igusa" known as a natural air purifier

Igusa has the ability to absorb household dust and other particles from the air, helping to keep your room's air clean just by laying it down.
Furthermore, igusa has high insulation properties and can block outside humidity, much like a down comforter. This allows it to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter, providing comfort all year round.

 

 Care Instructions

*Leaving the mat laid out for extended periods, using it immediately after waxing, or in high-temperature and high-humidity areas, may cause adhesion to the floor or transfer of surface treatment agents. Please use it in as dry a place as possible and ventilate or clean it about once a week.

*The surface of rush grass products uses "dyeing clay" and "dye" during manufacturing. These are harmless to humans, but may adhere to hands, feet, or clothing. Please be sure to dry-wipe the surface before use. (How to dry-wipe: Use a dry cloth or rag and lightly wipe the entire surface twice. Avoid wet-wiping as it may cause uneven color or mold.)

*If you spill water, absorb it with tissue paper. (Rubbing with a cloth may cause uneven color.)

*Due to the nature of the dyeing process, if the product gets wet with sweat or water, or if it is rubbed strongly, the color may transfer to clothing. Please be careful.

■About mold and insects

Mold may occur due to temperature and humidity. Additionally, dust mites are usually present in rooms. If proper care is neglected or mold is left untreated, dust mites that feed on food debris, human skin cells, dandruff, or mold may proliferate.
To prevent these, please clean regularly and use the product in a well-ventilated room whenever possible.
