"Tatami" has long been a familiar part of Japanese life.
However, not every home has a Japanese-style room these days.

The pleasant texture against the skin, the refreshing scent, and the strangely calming feel.
It was with the desire for people to experience this piece of Japanese history in Western-style rooms that led us to the domestically produced IGUSA RUG.

Rush grass has the ability to absorb airborne house dust, keeping the air in your room clean just by laying it down.
Furthermore, rush grass has high insulation properties and can block outside humidity like a down comforter, making it comfortable to use all year round, cool in summer and warm in winter.

 

 About Care Instructions

*Leaving the product laid out for long periods, using it immediately after waxing, or in hot and humid places may cause it to stick to the floor or cause surface treatment agents to adhere. Please use it in a dry place as much as possible and ventilate and clean it about once a week.

*For manufacturing purposes, "dyeing soil" and "dye" are used on the surface of rush grass products. These are harmless to the human body, but they may adhere to hands, feet, or clothing. Please dry-wipe the surface thoroughly before use. (Dry-wiping method: Use a dry cloth or rag and lightly wipe the entire surface about twice. Do not wet-wipe, as it may cause uneven color or mold.)

*If water or other liquids spill, blot them up with a tissue. (Rubbing with a cloth may cause uneven coloring.)

*Due to the nature of the dye, if wet with sweat or water, or rubbed strongly, color may transfer to clothing. Please be careful.

■About mold and insects

Mold may occur due to temperature and humidity. Also, dust mites are always present in rooms, but if maintenance is neglected or mold is left untreated, dust mites that feed on food scraps, human dander, flakes, or mold may appear.
To prevent this, please maintain the product regularly and use it in a well-ventilventilated room as much as possible.
