This cotton rug features a native motif characteristic of BasShu, woven with 100% smooth Indian cotton.

The geometric motifs are carefully woven one by one by skilled artisans.

Made from Indian cotton, which is excellent in breathability and absorbency, and with a thin, smooth feel, it can be used all year round.

 

The warmth that cannot be felt in machine weaving, and the rustic and soft texture, are characteristics unique to handweaving.

Even with the same design, the unique appeal of handweaving is that each piece turns out with a different expression. 


The geometric stripe composed of zigzags and straight lines is a pattern known as the Crystal weave in Navajo rugs, which originated in the mid-1930s.

With off-white as the base and different shades of blue,
it can create an early American style when paired with light wood furniture, or add a natural touch when used as an accent in a modern room.

* This product is handmade. Due to its nature, sizes may vary slightly, and there may be color variations, weaving irregularities, and slubs, but please understand these as characteristics of the product.
* Upon opening, there may be a characteristic odor. If concerned, airing it in a well-ventilated, shaded area will help reduce the smell.
* Colors may transfer, so wash separately.
* Due to the nature of the material, some color fading, color transfer, and shrinkage may occur after hand washing.
* Avoid using bleach or soaking.
* Avoid tumble drying as it may cause shrinkage.
* Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or fluorescent light may cause fading.
* No anti-slip backing is provided, so please be careful when using on slippery surfaces, as jumping or running on it may cause falls.
