A gauze blanket that becomes more comfortable with use

I vaguely remember using a soft gauze blanket when I was little and wondering why it felt so familiar and helped me sleep so well.

Drawing on those nostalgic memories,
we aimed for a four-layer gauze blanket that offers the blissful feeling of being enveloped in soft gauze,
a voluminous sensation that thoroughly wraps around you, yet is light and easy to use,
and fits perfectly into both your life and your body.

 


Soft and Light 4-Layer Gauze


While we could achieve a soft feel and volume by layering, it would make it heavy and difficult to use.

Considering that balance, we perfected the 4-layer gauze.

The outer two layers are woven with fine threads for a wonderfully smooth feel against the skin, while the inner two layers are woven more loosely.

This creates a thickness that you wouldn't expect from a 4-layer gauze.


Furthermore, the 4-layer gauze construction also improves breathability and quick-drying properties,
keeping you feeling fresh and comfortable even if you sweat a lot while sleeping.

 


Achieved absorbency through washing in the Imabari region

 

Normal gauze blankets are washed before sewing to remove impurities such as oils and starches from the fabric, improving absorbency.
Furthermore, instead of chemicals, two types of enzymes are used for careful washing, resulting in a unique fluffy finish.


While plain gauze blankets are common,

we thought it would be nice to create a vintage-inspired piece,
so we drew inspiration from late 19th-century vintage blankets and recreated them to our ideal.

This makes a perfect gift for new beginnings, like wedding or baby showers.
Use it daily and make it a cherished item that feels like a part of you.

<Care Instructions>

◎Gauze fabric has a tendency to shrink. After washing and spinning, promptly reshape and hang dry in the shade.
◎When washing, we recommend washing in a laundry net with plenty of water.
◎Colored items may bleed, so wash them separately from other items.
◎Excessive use of fabric softener can make the fibers slippery and cause shedding or pilling, so please avoid using it as much as possible.
◎Do not tumble dry.
◎Due to the use of soft gauze fabric, sharp nails or accessories may snag the fibers. Please be careful when handling and using.
