A patchwork quilt started "because I love it"

As the director quickly said, "Who can make something so detailed?"
In fact, there was no place in Japan that would take on such a painstaking patchwork project.
Still, I couldn't give up and kept looking, and a small factory in China spoke up.

To be honest, it was a quilt project where I wondered "who could make it" and
"who would buy it". It finally took shape.

Chinese artisans carefully piece together small scraps of fabric one by one to create a large pattern.
Since it's not printed, it takes an enormous amount of time, but there's a unique charm that only patchwork can offer.

The soft texture unique to post-dyeing

All processes are finished with overdying (post-dyeing).
The colors, which have an additional layer of dye on the fabric, possess a nostalgic, aged texture, as if they have always been there.

There are many types of quilts around the world, but I believe that American quilts, with their primitive and quiet presence, suit Japanese lifestyles.

Inspired by the rustic feel of early 1900s American quilts, we have remade them into a form that we find appealing.

Whether you lay it on the floor or use it outdoors, the usage is up to you.

Quilts are not typically laid on the floor, but how you use it is up to you.

When used as a rug in a Japanese or Western-style room, the entire room is enveloped in a warm atmosphere.

Each handmade patchwork piece, painstakingly crafted, is filled with the love of its maker.
