Patchwork quilt started out of "liking it"

As the director quickly said, "Who can make such a detailed thing?", in reality, there was no place in Japan that would take on such a time-consuming patchwork. But I didn't give up and kept looking, and a small factory in China spoke up.

Honestly, it was a quilt project where I thought, "Who can make this?" and "Who would buy this?". It's finally taken shape.

Chinese artisans meticulously connect small fabric scraps one by one to create a large pattern.
Since it's not printed, it takes an enormous amount of time, but it has a unique charm that only patchwork can offer.

The soft texture unique to overdyed fabric

After all the processes are complete, the fabric is overdyed.
The colors, which are dyed again on top of the original fabric, have a nostalgic and timeless quality, as if they have always been there.

There are many types of quilts around the world, but I believe that the primitive and quiet presence of American quilts suits Japanese lifestyles.

Inspired by the rustic texture of early 1900s American quilts, we have recreated them in a way that we find appealing.

Whether you lay it on the floor or use it outdoors, the usage is up to you

While quilts are not typically laid on the floor, how you use it is entirely up to you.

When laid out like a rug in a Japanese-style or Western-style room, it envelops the entire space in a warm atmosphere.

Each handmade patchwork, meticulously stitched with time, is imbued with the maker's love.
