Patchwork quilt started "because I like it"

"Who would make such intricate work?"
As the director abruptly said, in reality,
no domestic company would take on such a painstaking patchwork project,
but I couldn't give up and kept searching, and a small factory in China offered to help.

Honestly, it was a quilt project where I thought, "Who would make this?" and
"Who would buy this?" But it finally took shape.

Chinese artisans meticulously connect small fabric scraps one by one to create a large pattern.
This is not a print, so it takes an enormous amount of time, but it has a unique charm that only patchwork can provide.

The soft texture unique to overdyeing

Overdyeing is applied as the finishing touch to all processes.
The color, which is a further layer of dye on the fabric, has a nostalgic and time-worn feel.

There are various types of quilts in the world, but I believe that American quilts, with their primitive and quiet presence, suit the Japanese lifestyle.

Inspired by the rustic texture of American quilts from the early 1900s, we recreated them in a way we found appealing.

Use it on the floor, use it outdoors, the choice is yours

While quilts are not typically used on the floor, how you use it is entirely up to you.

Using it as a rug in a Japanese or Western-style room will envelop the entire space in a warm atmosphere.

Each handmade patchwork piece, painstakingly crafted over time, is imbued with the love of the maker.
