Our original Banshu-ori curtains were created with this in mind.

Generally, curtains are only functional, such as blackout, flame-retardant, or soundproof.
While I think they would be convenient to use,

they don't suit my room,
so I wanted a fabric that would let in more natural light.

"Fabric" comes in various materials, colors, and textures.
However, lace alone can look cheap and shabby.

I was looking for a fabric that felt familiar yet had a refined look.
That's how I found Banshu-ori.

The material is natural cotton linen, which blends into your room the more you use it.

Both linen and cotton are materials with excellent moisture absorption and durability.
This fabric combines the smooth feel of linen with the soft texture of cotton,
resulting in a fabric with a smooth touch.

However, natural materials breathe, so they expand and contract in dry or humid environments.
We would be happy if you could accept this with a relaxed attitude and not worry about it too much.

Furthermore, it contains a moderate amount of "neps," which are characteristic knots in linen yarn, creating a worn-in, vintage feel.

It shows different beauties depending on the time of day, season, and weather.
