Semi-custom curtains with a natural texture
that blend into your home the more you use them

"I want curtains that aren't plain, but let in gentle natural light."
These are our original Banshu-ori curtains, made with that thought in mind.

Curtains are generally all about functional aspects like blackout, fire resistance, and sound insulation.
While I thought they'd be convenient if I actually used them,

they didn't suit my room, so I wanted a fabric that would let in more natural light.

Even when we say "fabric," the materials, colors, and textures vary widely.
Just lace can look cheap and shabby...

I was looking for a familiar yet sophisticated fabric,
and that's how I arrived at Banshu-ori.

The fabric is a herringbone check with a natural unevenness created using old spinning machines.
It's washed to create a voluminous, vintage-like fabric.

However, natural materials breathe, so they will expand and contract depending on dry conditions or humid seasons.
We would be happy if you could accept this with a relaxed attitude, without worrying about it.

Additionally, the combination of a light red base and light blue will add an accent to your room.
These vintage-like curtains in a simple space are sure to become a symbol of your room.

Enjoy the changing expressions throughout the day, seasons, and weather.
