"I want a curtain that isn't plain and allows soft natural light to come in."
Our original curtain made from Banshu-ori fabric was created with this in mind.

Curtains are generally functional, such as blackout, flame-retardant, and soundproof.
While I thought they would be convenient if actually used,

they didn't suit my room,
so I wanted a fabric that would allow more natural light to shine through.

"Fabric" varies in material, color, and texture.
Lace alone can look cheap and shabby...

Familiar yet refined.
Searching for such a fabric led us to Banshu-ori.

The fabric is a yarn-dyed double gauze check combining different threads.

By making it a double-faced fabric with Panama weave and plain weave,
it has a rough texture and a soft finish.

However, natural materials breathe, so they expand and contract depending on dry conditions or humid seasons.
We would be happy if you could accept this with a relaxed feeling of not minding it.


Also, the combination of yellow and dark gray on a beige base gives it a vintage fabric look.
Personally, I think it would look even better with a few wrinkles after washing.
