Semi-custom curtains with a natural texture
that blend into your daily life the more you use them.

"I wanted curtains that weren't plain and let natural light in gently."
With that in mind, we created our original Banshu-ori curtains.

Curtains are generally functional, offering blackout, fire retardant, and soundproofing properties.
While I'm sure they're convenient to use,

they didn't suit my room, so I preferred a fabric that would allow more natural light to enter.

When it comes to "fabric," the materials, colors, and textures vary.
Lace alone can sometimes look cheap and shabby.

I was looking for a fabric that felt familiar yet sophisticated.
That's how I discovered Banshu-ori.

I focused on achieving a balanced check pattern that isn't too sweet.
By using a white base with green lines to create the check, I aimed for a refreshing finish.

The fabric features a deep tartan check created with a dobby weave.
The light passing through the curtains beautifully illuminates and brightens your room.

However, natural materials breathe, so they may expand or contract depending on the humidity and dry conditions.
We hope you'll embrace this with a relaxed attitude and not worry too much about it.

They are also recommended as room partitions, not just for windows.
Their moderate translucency gives a refreshing impression without feeling closed off.

Please enjoy the ever-changing expressions throughout the day, seasons, and weather.
