[For the floor dwellers] Denison Camo and new long cushion

【床派へ】Denison Camoと新ロングクッション

Our new series, which received a great response immediately after its release.

Some items are already SOLD OUT,

but I'm worried that the actual colors might be hard to discern,

so I'd like to provide some additional details.

↓↓ This image makes the colors look quite vivid, but

This is what they actually look like. (※All photos are unedited)

The two colors, Khaki and Denison Camo,

are heavily washed in the final process,

so they don't have a vivid look; rather, they have a smoky color development.

The Denison Camo fabric also has a nice texture from being rubbed on the surface.

Perhaps it's because it's British military?

Even though it's a pattern from 100 years ago, it doesn't look old at all.

From its bold scale to its color scheme,

I think it still looks sophisticated today.

The name "Denison Camo," which the market owner taught me, was stylish,

so we used it as the color name.

Stencil White, made from cotton linen canvas fabric.

The subtle stencil is a characteristic feature,

but personally, I love the rough, dry texture unique to linen blends.

Although it's labeled as White,

we use "ecru" rather than pure white,

so it blends well with rooms in a natural, soft tone.

About the Long Feather Cushion

Also about the 45x75cm rectangular cushion with filling,

which we started selling this season.

The initial idea was simple:

we talked about wanting a cushion that could be used more luxuriously.

In my case,

even if there's a sofa, I prefer to sit on the floor (or rather, with my back to the sofa)

and relax; I'm a floor person.

Square cushions are just a bit too small, so I used to stack two.

I wished there was something larger, whether for sitting or for back support.

So, we brought that wish to life. (lol)

I'm not sure how much support there is for floor-sitting,

but this size is very good for relaxing.

Needless to say, it goes well with a sofa,

and it offers a "luxury" that a 45cm square cushion can't provide.

It might even be an exaggeration to say it's a cushion beyond cushions. (lol)

----

We also paid close attention to the inner cushion.

The filling is 100% small feathers,

not polyester.

Polyester filling is overwhelmingly cheaper,

but it also wears out commensurate with its price.

And once it's compressed, it doesn't bounce back.

Feathers are elastic and fluff back up,

and they last longer, so I think they're ultimately more cost-effective.

This is a subtle detail,

but I don't particularly like cushions that are too stiff,

so I had them made with a reduced volume.

This is typical for BasShu;

we also make our cushion covers larger,

so they have a slightly loose fit when put on.

Please don't worry if you think, "Huh? It's too big..."

Combining it with a 45cm square cushion like this

seems to expand its versatility.

That's all

for the supplementary information.

See you!
