In my experience,
the more unexpected and surprising things there are (for me),
the better the catalog turns out.
Even shots I thought were a bit off at the time,
look incredibly fitting later,
and stylings I thought were wild
turn out to be amazing when finished.

When you work with the same team repeatedly,
I think the person making the request might anticipate how things will go to some extent,
but the BasShu photography team consistently and pleasantly subverts those expectations.
Even with products I planned myself,
I've had new discoveries, like, "Oh, it has that side to it too!"
While I want people to use the products freely,
I realize that I'm actually the one with rigid ideas, and they're helping me relax those notions.

The catalog, a product of much trial and error,
reflects what BasShu should be.
This time, it primarily features autumn/winter items such as new wool blankets, patchwork quilts,
laundry bags, and bed linens.
In particular, during the recent photoshoot,
there were many "Oh my!" moments (for me), so I think it's a very engaging catalog.
