As a staple product of the brand,
the "made in Izumiotsu" wool blanket
has somehow become well-established.
Considering the early days when we were just finding our way,
it's a great privilege that it has grown into a product used by so many people,
and that we can consistently produce it at the factory every year.
In an era where it's possible to create "good products"
but difficult to continue producing them,
there's nothing happier than this.

we've added three new patterns to our standard designs.

We took an earthy native pattern
and made it refreshing by using a blue base that isn't quite navy, with light blue accents.
Perhaps because it's used in winter,
this kind of blue is surprisingly rare for a blanket.
When used as bedding, it looks like this.
The subtle stripes are effective, and I think it's a pattern that blends well with a room.
Also, I want to emphasize that
just adding one blanket on top of a down comforter makes a huge difference.
It's unbelievably warm!
100% wool is amazing.
And, though I forgot to take a picture,
since it's jacquard,
the reverse side will be a cream color with an inverted pattern.

Black x Camel.
This is based on the design of an old bedspread I found at an antique market.
This pattern was widely used in America in the mid-1800s, apparently.
It's a mysterious pattern that's hard to categorize,
and it blends perfectly with Mid-century, Japanese, and American vintage styles.
Here's the navy x beige we released last year.
(It looks like a color variation, but the pattern is actually different)

This striped pattern, though simple,
has a kind of endearing quality that I really love.
