When you use towels, don't they tend to flatten, feel thin, or become stiff, giving the impression that they are consumables?
In fact, by paying attention to just three steps—washing, drying, and hanging—your towels will become more comfortable the more you use them.
If you want to avoid ruining your blankets, let's "grow" them using the methods I'm about to introduce.
3 Rules for Fluffy Towels
(1)When washing in a washing machine, thoroughly wet the towel with plenty of water.
(2)Once spin-drying is complete, snap the towel vigorously.
(3)Be careful not to over-dry.
(1)When washing in a washing machine, thoroughly wet the towel with plenty of water.
The pile of the towel fabric is what creates its texture and elasticity. To maintain this pile in good condition, the towel needs to be able to "swim" in water inside the washing machine.
On the other hand, towels absorb water.
Do you usually put dry towels directly into the washing machine?
If so, the dry towel will absorb a lot of water, leading to an insufficient amount of water in the washing machine.
In this state, the towel cannot "swim," and it may also negatively affect the washing of other clothes.
Therefore, when washing towels, it's a bit extra effort, but please wet the towels thoroughly with water first. If you then put them into the washing machine, they won't absorb the water being filled into the machine.
(2)Once spin-drying is complete, snap the towel vigorously.
After spin-drying, the towels will be stuck to the drum or washing tub.
If you dry them in this state, the towels will not be fluffy.
So, after spin-drying, take out the towels and snap them vigorously.
This will help the pile stand up.
The key is to snap them vigorously, like a "heat master" waving a towel.

You'll need to snap them about 3 or 4 times.
(3)Be careful not to over-dry.
If using a dryer or a washing machine with a drying function, remove the towels immediately once drying is complete.
If you leave the towels inside, the temperature in the machine remains high, and the moisture contained in the towels will be increasingly lost.
Similarly, for sun-drying, if you leave them out for too long, they will become over-dried, so it is recommended to bring them indoors early.
Also, if they have become too dry, it is important to reintroduce moisture to the towels.
For example, try applying steam from a household steamer to the towels.
First, try practicing these three rules.
