The catalog that we shot last December at a penthouse by the sea will be released soon.

I've been posting sneak peeks on Instagram, but thanks to the wonderful weather and fantastic location, I think we've created an exciting catalog that truly captures the world of BasShu.

 

This photoshoot involved the reliable all-male team that has been working on BasShu's catalogs since the brand's inception: photographer Mr. Obi, stylist Mr. Harada, and art director Mr. Ogawa. As usual, it was a very masculine affair.

Even the snacks during the shoot were渋い (shibui), consisting of rice crackers and peanuts.

 

The現場 (genba - set) was always down to the wire, with everyone pitching in.

By the way, for those of you who want a copy of this Spring/Summer catalog, I'm thinking of sending it to the first 50 people who request it.

 

This is a new endeavor, as we used to only send them to buyers. So, if you'd like one, please speak up.

I'll send it to you for free.

 

The items featured in the catalog are scheduled to be released on our online store around mid-February.

 

I wonder if anyone wants a catalog?

... I hope so. LOL
